Ok enough of the bullshit, I have been in this business for about 4 years now, and went full time in May 2007 and never looked back. It’s had its ups and downs for sure but the rewards are there if you keep at it and work hard.
I work mainly in the online gaming sector, bingo, casino and poker, but I’m always looking for new projects to work on and always buying domain names to start that next big website.
I don’t have any distinctions or PhD’s or the kind, actually I don’t even have O levels or GCE’s for that matter, yes I know, I was a drop out at school and was working from the age of 15, but this hasn’t and shouldn’t stop anyone from being a half decent entrepreneur.
I am a gamer at heart. My first computer was bought because of the release of the game Age of Empires which I played for a couple of years online, then I started playing Asheron’s Call, a MMORPG for over 4 years (working a normal job at the time). After Asheron’s Call I started playing other MMORPG games, including Dark Age of Camelot, Star Wars Galaxies and World of Warcraft.
It was my time playing these games that the entrepreneur instincts in me kicked in, I was a large eBay seller of in-game items and in 1 year playing Star Wars Galaxies I had sold over £60,000 worth of credits (in-game money) on eBay to other players. But the best thing that came from that game was meeting a gorgeous girl who is now my wife and mother of my two lovely boys. This caused me to move from London to Holland and a kick up the arse to motivate me to do something for real, that’s when the affiliate marketing business started and the rest is history as they say!
